Why Give To Spectrios Institute for Low Vision?

Vision loss affects people of all ages and all walks-of life. Age related vision loss from eye conditions such as macular degeneration and glaucoma are prevalent in older adults and have become a major health concern in our community and across the nation.

Since 1986, Spectrios Institute for Low Vision has been addressing the devastating effects of severe vision loss by offering a unique, nationally recognized visual rehabilitation program. Using the latest technology, tools and expertise, along with caring support, our clients find solutions that maximize their sight to not only see better, but live more hopeful and independent lives.

Over 60% of our funding comes from donations and grants. The fee we charge covers only a portion of each client's program. Your donation enables us to keep our program affordable and sustain our high-quality low vision services that help individuals with vision loss reach their visual potential.

Financial support is also important in perpetuating our vision for the future - expanding our programs and services to make them more accessible and reach more people with vision loss than ever before.

We depend on your donation to ensure low vision care is available to everyone with vision loss today and in the years to come.
